The Noho marae
We went to the Noho marae trip. Room 5 and 7 went
and some of the parents, also some of the teachers
went to the noho marae. To learn about the Māori
culture.
Afternoon rotations
In the evening we
did the evening activities. There was soap carving, inside
games, technology challenge, weaving and other stuff.
Some
activities were very challenging. I was in soap carving,
it was
really fun. I did a koruru. My next activity was a game
called
rat and mouse and we also did fan soccer.
Roasting Marshmallows
After
the evening rotation we roasted marshmallows. We
had two
biscuits and put the
biscuits on the marshmallows. They were really really
delicious.
You could only have
one because there was 60 of us. We listened to
two stories.
One was told by
Miss
Barrow
and the other one by Miss Kemp. They were cool
stories. The next day We
went on a bush walk, there was icky mud and at the
end we had
morning tea.
Miss Ireland told
us a legend. There was a wasp on Porsha's
bag, so me and
Jordyn moved our bags.
Then the wasp flew
away so then Porsha could eat her banana.Thank you
parents for coming to the
noho marae trip.
It was very cool and chill. Thank you.
I enjoyed the Noho marae trip I
learnt a lot.
