Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey teaser week. My name is Allie and I am the cluster manager for Toki Pounamu. It is great that you have completed your first post. You have done a really good job with your poster about Lorde. You have included lots of good information that you have learnt about her. Do you have a favourite Lorde song? Did you know that Lordes favourite subject when she was at school was reading. She was in her schools Kids Lit quiz team. I know that Karoro school had two teams in our competition this year.
The SLJ starts on Monday 16th December, this is when you can start earning points for your work. We are looking forward to reading more of your work over the summer, so I really hope that you will give it a go. Remember that you can get a couple done before you leave school.
It's not long now and school will be over and the holidays will be here. I hope you have been doing some fun things in your last full week at school.
